Me and Renaz decided to have a movie night at my place. We both agreed that we need to see the newest Finnish document about Bboying. 

The documentary was about finnish breakdance scene and how did it started and where is it today. The director Hiski Hämäläinen did a great job.  It was really an eye opening experience for me. I really didn't know much about the bboy scene and how it was back in the days. Of course you hear some stories along the way but nothing quite like this. The documentary included a lot of Bboys and Bgirls from different cities in Finland. It was nice hear everybody's stories from their point of view. 

 The best part of the movie was definetely all stories from 1980's. I was born in 1988 and started dancing early 2000. The scene in Finland was really young even back then. So being a ignorant teenager as me it did never acure to me to ask these kinds of questions from no one. Im glad that later on i've met the right people who definitely filled all the blank spots. 

Shout out to Charles Salter (USA) who was one of the first breakdance and Hiphop teacher who gave classes in Helsinki dance academy and continued teaching there for the next 20 years. So know doubt he had the BIGGEST influence on what was happening here in the mid 80's and later on. Much respect to you Sir.

Today i received my custom made jersey and my baseball jacket from my trusted sewer. She really did a good job by redoing these two pieces. 

I bought the jersey from a sport store. When i got back home i realized that the shirt didn't fit me as i wanted. Then i got an idea to make it shorter and added my signature C letter to it and Voila. The necklace is customade by Melody Ehsani.

I found this vest from flea market UFF. This was around 8 euros. I saw it and immediately knew the potentials of it. I love jackets, my wardrobe is full of them.

We added sleeves, a zipper and a collar. LOVING THIS ONE! <3

The gender-bending artist is rapping about dressing like a boy but talk like girl in her Miss America video. I like the fact that she's not even showing her face and by that staying anonymous and letting the music speak for its self. AND HELLO yes her styleee is wayy too dope. She even have some vogue dancers in her video!! Das was sup!

Let me introduce you to my good friend Sebastian. He's from Sweden but living in Norway at the moment. We met couple a years ago in a dance camp in Estonia. Ever since there has been some sort of a friendship going on. Thank you Facebook. 

Sebastian is also known to be a part of family called Leftsound crew which is based in Norway and Sweden. The crew consists dancers, Dj:s, photographers etc. Im glad they have their thing going on. Shout out to them!! Miss you all! 

One of his biggest passion are sneakers, so he decided to make a blog about them. The concept is basically about sneakers and sneaker heads in scandinavia. He usually posts about new releases and stores where you can get your freshest sneakers. For me the dopest part of it is the friday feet concept. Sebastian chooses every friday a sneaker head who makes it to blog. Obviously your sneaker game has to be right for you to make it. haha! Gladly i made it! 

I had this picture taken almost a year ago. It's not propably my favorite shoe but i really LOVE the color way. You won't see anybody in Finland wearings these. 

Hopefully i will get the chance to be on the blog soon. Still got a lot of gems hidden in the closet ;)

CLIQUE x Game night @Sports bar O'Learys

Tonight we had a game night at a sports bar called O'Learys which is located in shopping centre Forums 3rd floor. The hole pub is full of sport pictures from basketball to american football. The menu is tasty and they even played good music. You can go wrong with that combo. LOL! 

Ok, so tonights game was Trivial Pursuit. We teamed up in groups of 3.

Rascalz Movie Night

After a long bootcamp weekend we decided that is time to chill. The kids have been practicing 18 hours during these three days. Instead of practicing we decided to have a movie night with the hole crew. 

The Rascalz formation team are participating the Finnish nationals this year. There are 24 dancers + 2 extras. Me, Lilli and Akim have been coaching the team for 2-3 years. Im super happy to work with these talented kids, always full of energy with a positive vibe. Let's keep that going!! Love you all!
